Early Intervention means identifying and providing effective early support to children and young people who exhibit developmental delays or have special needs. Effective early intervention helps to prevent problems from occurring or to tackle them head-on when they do before the problem gets worse for a child with special needs. It helps in fostering a whole set of personal strengths and skills which will prepare the child for adult life. It will improve their well-being, child’s home and family life and enable them to perform better at school so, it is important that any special needs of a child are identified at the earliest.

There are many different signs and symptoms of growth delay which a parent or caretaker of the child can notice. Sometimes you might see signs in infancy, but in some cases, it won’t be noticeable until school age.
